Thursday, March 24, 2016 afternoon, Franck LICARI (singer, actor, and professional stage assistant) came to the college J.d' D'arbaud de Vaison to explain his craft, his work, his passion to the students of 4th and 3rd CHAM. This intervention is part of the 'Opera in Action' project, in partnership with the Chorégies d'Orange and DCPs.
After a good half hour of lyrical voice work: in voice, work on posture, breathing, the diction and the Resonators, Franck LICARI gave a lecture for an hour to explain his craft of assistant director, around the Opera "Madama Butterfly" by G.PUCCINI"; all illustrated by a model of the ancient theatre of Orange and various documents. Very tuned students have really enjoyed this dynamic and very interesting intervention which allowed them to understand the workings of an opera production and further developed their curiosity.
A big thanks to Franck LICARI and partners for making it possible for students to discover, an active and friendly, trades of the opera and the functioning of this wonderful adventure that is the creation of a live performance.
